Attornies Shawn McCammon and John Murray have a great thing going. Their relatively young law firm is booming, having multiple offices raving clients all over the place. However, they had gone with a standard web design firm that focuses solely on attorneys, and as is nearly always the case, the design and effectiveness of the site left a lot to be desired. We are honored that they chose us to make a new mobile responsive website for their law firm.
Empower One Another is a new movement, literally created from the dreams of Chris Hoff. The idea, as a whole, is that there are events where people get away, are encouraged, and where a new style of society is budded in the hearts of people. In this new style of society, encouragement reigns, trust is given, and people feel known. It’s great. The site we now have live is the third iteration of their site that we have built for them, advancing as technology advanced until we finally had “the solution” for a business site being seen correctly on a mobile device: True Responsive Design. This is awesome. Just read the name! “West Virginia Future Business Leaders Association”. YES! JCI founder Jared Cullop is from Appalachia, a bit south of West Virginia in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. But JCI’s first team member, Abram Goff, is from West Virginia. The two transplants to Cali were more than excited to work on this site and give these future world leaders a new website that they could be proud of.
Talk about a mammoth project! Dr. Ray Powell has a great thing going, so much so that he’s got 6 locations throughout Northern California! Well, when it came to making an eCommerce website for him, he needed us to make it not only display all of his products well, but to sync and integrate all of his inventory in all 6 locations. Well, we got it done! Now, all of his cash registers are run from iPads that we set up, and the inventory management is flawless. Shoo!
WaterWorks Park is a staple business here in Redding. It sits like a giant, impossible to miss on one of our busiest roads. With the heat we get, which is up to 120 degrees, it seems that all of Redding and the surrounding counties can be found cooling off at WWP. We are honored to have been able to build a new site that shows that the park is here to stay for many years to come. Check it out, and you’ll see the dynamic use of ambient background videos, showing you literally what it’s like to shoot down each of their waterslides.
When Kate Obenshain isn’t on Fox News as a political commentator (www.kateobenshain.com), she is running her high-end boutique real estate company in Winchester, VA. We actually got to build both sites for her, but it’s the real estate site you see here, along with the full branding package, that we’re most proud of. Plus, JCI founder Jared Cullop has owned some real estate companies in the past, and we think he got really excited to get to put some of that knowledge into play on this site. Be sure to note how well the Multiple Listing Service was integrated into the look and feel of the site
DH Scott & Company owns their market, being the undeniable ‘Accounting Firm Giant’ here in Redding. So, you might ask, why would they invest the time and energy and money into having us fully remake their online presence? Honor and respect. These guys really knew what they wanted, and were so clear in explaining their culture and brand identity to our design team. They feel, as do we, that the new site portrays that identity to the world quite effectively. Yay for happy clients!
Like many private schools, Liberty Christian School uses Renweb for all scheduling and a lot of the communication with parents. Renweb is a fantastic program, but doesn’t exactly look great. We were able to design and develop a new, fully mobile responsive sites (imagine parents on the couch after kids are down for bed, iPhones in hand trying to figure out what the kids are to wear to the play, only to not be able to read it because the site isn’t responsive…) This is an area we at JCI want to grow in, helping out excellent private schools across the US.
You know you’re killing it in your industry when it’s 2016, you’ve never had a website, and your calendar is still full. This is Dr. Shoff. Rather than just having a list of clients, we wanted to help him get the right clients, help clarify some false rumors about what the best practice is, and help them make the transition as smooth as possible. He does things with excellence so when he was ready for a site, he was came to us and he’s glad he did.
Yeah, this one is a pretty big deal, as it’s the actual corporate site for a highly acclaimed product. This air purifier has been featured in Forbes, reviewed by Yahoo!, and written up in the Boston Globe. So when it came to a site that would not only relay all the high tech info in an easily digestible way but also have the “feel” of clean and organized, like the product, we’re so glad they chose JCI.
Diego Tantardini is the real deal. Being from the global epicenter of design and fashion, Milan, Italy, we knew we had to be on our A-Game to make sure he was blown away with his new website. Well, apparently he is! He is one of our biggest promoters now, and his very new business is booming. Seems like every time we send him a text asking how he is doing, the reply is “I’m baking! I’m too busy! I love it!” Check the site out, but not on an empty stomach. That would be torture. Notice everything you feel. When we made this site, his bakery didn’t even yet exist.
If you only look at one site in this list, you should check this one out. This site walks the line of “the WOW Factor” and “over the top”, and we think we nailed it. So does Stream owner Chris Hamilton and his management team. As soon as you open the home page, the image we created hits you with a manly, bold, slightly gnarly glorification of the industrial construction industry. Then, as you start to scroll, notice how the parallax scrolling over the truthfully and unexpectedly beautiful imagery of the industry seem to just come and come. We love the unashamed badassery.
Physician's Plan Medical Weight Management has offices in six locations in Northern California: Redding, Chico, Yreka, Willows, Red Bluff, and Mount Shasta. Dr. Powell and his staff help patients lose weight and maintain weight successfully with the help of qualified medical practitioners. Their programs treat the whole person by combining the principles of nutrition, exercise physiology, pharmacotherapy (ethical medications), and behavior modification all in a caring and compassionate setting.
Since nowadays it’s harder than ever to find a nutritious meal, let alone a snack, Dr. Powell also has a second website, CarbEssentials (link this too), that we built. You should check it out too. It syncs the inventory in 6 different locations, all with the online eCommerce store. We helped outfit them with new iPads for helping in-store customers, even through the checkout process.
This site is built on Shopify, which is perfect for businesses that have an online store PLUS a brick-and-mortar store that needs to have its inventory synced in real time with the website. This site is very robust. All inventory is tracked. All orders are easily processed and tracked. Also, it gives the Anderson’s tons of options when it comes to seeing reports on traffic, conversions, and more.
